Dr. Anyarat "Anna" Rikard has been a board-certified geriatric pharmacist for over 17 years with extensive training in clinical, therapeutical, and managerial experiences in community and hospital pharmacy. As an outpatient pharmacy manager for Methodist Lebonheur Healthcare, she has implemented a transitional care model that has focused on a comprehensive patient and family-centered care in Internal Medicine, Cardiology, Geriatrics, Endocrinology, Orthopedics, Women’s Health and Weight Management. Since 2018, she has designed and developed a pharmacy standard operating procedures for the Meds to Beds program at the Methodist Lebonheur Healthcare. Most recently, Dr. Rikard help launched the Dispensary of Hope Program for her hospital system, where uninsured population in the Midsouth community can receive free medications for their medical needs. Last year. Dr Rikard received national recognition from the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP) CPEL credentials for commitment to achieving and leading the pharmacy enterprises.
As a UT Health Science Center Pharmacy alumna, Dr. Rikard continues to give back to her students and her community. She is an active member of the UT COP Strategic Planning Education/Recruitment/Student Success committee and the American Heart Association STEM Goes Red Mentor for young women who share a passion for mathematics and sciences. Her most important job is being a wife to an understanding husband, who is an oncology pharmacist, and mother of two adventurous boys who are on a quest to visit all the national parks in the United States.
