Fernando Garcia-Barbon RN, BSN
Fernando received his BSN from Washington Adventist University in 2002. He began his nursing career at Adventist HealthCare White Oak Medical Center (formerly known as Washington Adventist Hospital). From 2002 to 2006 he worked as a staff nurse in the Cardiac Telemetry Unit which sparked his interest in cardiovascular care nursing. In 2006 he made the transition to the Cardiac Catheterization Lab, where he worked for 9 years. Fernando joined the ACC’s NCDR as a Clinical Quality Advisor the summer of 2015. He works with the LAAO and AFib Ablation Registries.
