Kimberly Lavin, MSN, RN, MPH
Ms. Lavin joined the American College of Cardiology’s (ACC) National Cardiovascular Registry (NCDR) in 2017. In her position as a NCDR Clinical Quality Advisor she supports the CathPCI Registry. Ms. Lavin is a Registered Nurse in the state of Virginia and has over 30 years of healthcare experience. She has been fortunate to have held various positions in the healthcare field during her career. These positions include: Intensive Care Nursing, Acute Care Nurse Practitioner, Cardiac Catheterization Lab Manager, and Director of Performance Improvement.
She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Creighton University. Later she received her Master of Science in Nursing and Master of Public Health degrees from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Ms. Lavin also completed a Fellowship in Patient Safety at Virginia Commonwealth University.
