Cornelia Anderson, MSN, RN, CPHQ, AACC
Ms. Anderson joined the ACC’s National Cardiovascular Data Registry (NCDR) as a Senior Specialist in 2012 and became the Product Manager for the CathPCI Registry in 2014. She also served as the Product Manager for the IMPACT Registry for 3 years before transitioning to the Chest Pain – MI Registry in 2019. Most recently Ms. Anderson assumed the Director, NCDR Registry Products position, after spending a year on the NCDR Research Study Team, as well she is again the principal liaison to the CathPCI Registry. Ms. Anderson is a Registered Nurse in the District of Columbia and the state of Maryland with over 25 years of diverse acute care experience including ACLS ambulance transportation, IV therapy, cardiovascular care specific to pre and post interventional procedures, Cath Lab and the Emergency Department (ED). As a supervisor in the ED, Ms. Anderson helped facilitate the adoption of Advance Triage Protocols to support rapid assessment and intervention and was selected as the unit representative for the Cerner Initiative (implementation of EHR) while working in the ED and again on transitioning to the Cath Lab. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Columbia Union College in 1987, is a Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality® (CPHQ) since 2015, became an Associate of the American College of Cardiology in 2016 and in April 2020 received a Master of Science in Nursing from Chamberlain University.
